Learning to draw

I haven’t been posting for a week or so, simply because I’m using a lot of time trying to get better at drawing.

I really want to develop my drawing skills, as I think this’ll help me a lot with future painting projects.

I’ve realized that if I want to move forward in painting, I have to either be able to make out a good base drawing to work with, or be able to paint for example buildings, people or animals with a decent understanding of perspectives, structures and movement.

So I’ve bought myself a few books on drawing, trying to get in some exercises every evening.

I hope it’ll turn out the way I hope.

In the meantime I’m planning to get in some painting sessions inbetween 🙂

    1. I know what you’re talking about, Phil ☺ We’re currently changing the floor in our livingroom, so it’s a good time to pick up a more practical medium for short breaks. I have three books to go through about drawing, though ☺
