Speed drawing people

For the past month, I’ve been trying to loosen up my drawing style a bit.

I feel that I’m always putting too much time and details into my drawings, which makes them look unrealistic and overworked.

There’s just no room for the brain to itself put in the final details.

So, as part of my practice to loosen up a bit, I tried to speed draw a few people.

Just letting the mind rest for a bit, and let the hand work freely.

Ironically, as I suspected, the ones I used 5 seconds drawing turned out a lot better than the ones I’ve used 15 minutes on before…

    1. Wow, thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚ I must admit I don’t know what The Versatile Blogger Award is (I’m clearly not very up to date)… but I’ll be sure to find out ๐Ÿ™‚ I do much appreciate the nomination, though. And that you think I’ve deserved it ๐Ÿ™‚
