If you google “A windmill in Copenhagen” this is the windmill that pops up.
I took this photo during a trip to Copenhagen back in 2014.
The windmill is located in an area callet “Kastellet” (The Citadel), which is one of the best preserved fortresses in Northern Europe.
The windmill was built in 1847 to provide flour and rolled oats for the citadel.
So, to get to the point, I did a sketch of it the other day, and it looked like this:
It was a fun sketch to make, and brought back some nice memories 🙂
