As I mentioned in my last post, it felt really nice picking up the pens and markers again.
In the last six months I’ve spent most of my spare time doing watercolour paintings, which has been a blast.
I’ve seemed to have forgotten, though, how fun other mediums can be as well.
So I decided to do another marker drawing last night, based on a drawing in one of my tutorial books called “5-minute sketching – Animal and pets”.
As in my last sesson, I started with a pencil drawing, going over the best lines with a pen. I then erased all the pencil marks and added colour using promarkers.
This is how it ended up:
As with the last time, this ended up being a really fun session. Just letting the lines flow, really.
I was also able to keep the marker colour even on most of the drawing, which I’m pleased with as well 🙂
