A bit brighter than usual, this, but another addition to my digital series:
I’m struggling a bit regarding the windows, and whether I should’ve added some shadows of different people or objects in them.
In the end I decided it looked cleaner the way it is.
I really feel that I’m getting into this new style now, and are receiving lot’s of positive feedback on it.
Which is very fun!
I’ve made a few drawings in this style not using bright colours or such basic shapes. like these ones:
By the harbour Heading out Fish City
I feel, however, that they just look a bit less interesting.
So I’ve basically decided to keep on building on the coloured ones, but please give me your view on it if you have one.
Personally I really like the colours
Thank you, Elaine 🙂 I’m glad you like the colours, It’s almost neon, so it’s probably the strongest colours I’ve ever used. But it’s fun to try something new 🙂
I like this one and prefer these paintings when you have more negative space. 😊
Windows are fine. I like some negative space in a picture!
Thank you, Anna! 🙂 What do you think of the colours? Looking back at it I think they may be a bit too bright for my taste 🙂
I think the colour is fine – I think I probably would have made it slightly less green,
(OBVIOUSLY it’s not GREEN as such, but if you look at a colour wheel, it is very slightly closer to the green and yellow side than for example magenta and red),
but I think the colour you have chosen is better because it blends in with the rest of the colours.
Thank you! 🙂 I know what you mean. I got in the zone, and forgot a bit about the whole composition. Then, when I was done, I though ” Jeez, that’s some bright, neon like colours” 🙂
I like the colours, suits the fun vibe!
Great! I’m glad ☺
