Same Same, but Different

It’s a saying we heard a lot when we were traveling in Southeast Asia a few years back, and I find it fitting for the heading of this post.

I’ve been spending a lot of time lately doing digital paintings in a new style, but haven’t really adapted it to any other mediums.

I have, however, spent quite a few pages of my sketchbook drawing some landscape sceneries.

They do look kind of empty, though.

Not very interesting at all.

So why not put the two styles together and add some people to the mix?

I definitely find it a bit more interesting, and take it as a first step of implementing the style to some new mediums.
