A crashing wave is certainly not a new theme for me when it comes to painting, but it’s been a while since I last picked up my palette knife.
I just felt like playing it a bit safe, having fun and relax with the paint.
So this is the one I’m the most pleased with:
And these are the other ones I made during the session, which I think turned out OK.
All three are painted on oil painting pads, which was so easy to use.
I’ve painted so much on canvases that I’d actually forgotten that they existed.
Putting them in a frame would also be a bit easier than with the canvases.
So I think I’ll have to buy a few more pads to use for practice.
And a bit more blue paint, as well 😉
Is that ice, PP?
I may be a bit thick, but I’m not sure I understand the question.. ☺
Enjoy seeing your paintings again!
Thank you so much! I do very much enjoy painting them. It just demands more time than I have, most days. That’s why it feels so great when I do 😛
