This is an overworked watercolor painting.
I knew it from the moment I started overworking it.
I didn’t have the patience to wait for it to dry.
I didn’t have the patience to think about what I wanted to paint before I painted.
The pathway in front shows all the different layers that were added.
Each one in a more restless, uninspired way.
And then I just left it, and let it dry.
So I thought I might as well post it.
Because, after all, it is a huge part of the painting process 🙂
There is no such thing as a bad painting because each painting leads us along the journey. 😊😉
That is very true, Elaine 😀
