Something in Green

I rarely use much green these days.

I have a marker with moss green, that I use on bushes, trees and grass.

It’s the one I’ve used in the drawing below.

But I’m talking about “green green”.

So for this cabin I didn’t want any yellow.

Not any blue, and not even any red.

I went with the forest green, and I really like how it pops.

While drawing it, I noticed how much I’ve missed doing these mountain drawings, that I’ve spent a lot of time trying to cultivate.

I just think it looks so clean and spacious.

Just the way nature is.

Anyway, I hope you like it and that you’re having a nice day 🙂

  1. The green on your cabin looks great. My very limited experience of using coloured pencils is that most of the greens are just too vibrant for use in representation of natural subjects. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Lisa 🙂 I totally agree. The main reason I’ve avoided it lately is that it often ends up looking almost like a neon colour. It demands way to much attention when added to other, softer colours. But in this case it felt good to just let the green glow bright, and let it have all the attention it wants 😀 And thank you so much for commenting, by the way 🙂

I would love it if you left me a few words
