Finishing Up the Mini Series

As I’ve mentioned in my last few posts, I’ve painted a little watercolour series on some small pieces of paper.

A great way, I find it, to get some painting time into short gaps during the day.

My first two paintings were of some birds flying high and a very warm day.

And this is the last painting in the series:

It’s quite basic, really.

But I find that there could be depictions of different things, if I leave it up to my imagination.

Is it, for example, a farm land with huge fields of grass?

Are there roads heading towards something in the mountain?

Or is it just an untouched spot lying there, awaiting the first visitor?

I’m not quite sure, but I like to keep my mind wandering like that.

Anyway, the series as a whole looks like this:

I hope you like it, and that you’re having a good day!

    1. Exactly 🙂 It’s a great way to try out different ideas, and see which ones to keep working on. I have a few plans for bigger paintings based on some of my small, quick ones. But I need to get the techniques right first 🙂

I would love it if you left me a few words
