Another pen and marker drawing, to break up the streak of digital paintings: I think this one ended up quite nice, with a lot of space and elements. I don't think it looks messy, though. Everything is melting nicely together.
I imagine this is some kind of patroller. Maybe a ship from the military, keeping an eye on the shoreline. I kind of get a WWII-feeling about the drawing, but it wasn't my intention. Either way it was fun to use my pen doing a new technique, which I find very exciting 🙂
I was on the phone, and just started doodling. First I made a hill with a cabin on top. Then the hill became a square, and suddenly it was a sail. With a sail done the next step was pretty obvious. So I added a ship and the sea using the same style. When the…

Drawing fence posts is something I've started doing without really registering it. The first time I drew them I just liked the way they turned out, and I started adding more and more of them. I guess they remind me of my own childhood, clinging on to them while climbing up the hills.
I've been drawing these "humans" for quite a while. The funny thing though, is that I've never really felt that they needed arms. It's quite weird, because it certainly is a pretty important body part. And when I have added arms to them, they look very much like the legs. Not very delicate, but it does bring more…
