Quite a pickle, this one. I don't know what the other guy is doing, but it doesn't look too good. Anyway, I hope you are doing alright, and are hanging on 🙂
From the dirt up to the top. Throbbing steps without a stop.
Into the forest, under the trees. That's where you'll find the greatest ease.
A walk and talk may be all you need. Flowing words and little speed. Everything from within the chest. Getting out in a little quest.
Bushes and pine trees are fun to draw. Especially the pine trees, which is the newest edition to my tree repertory. I hope you enjoy them, and that you're having a nice day 🙂
Follow the line out from the top. Down there you'll find a decent stop.
After painting a lot of landscape scenes, it was time for a visit back to the city. Maybe not the city, come to think of it, but at least the suburbs. The painting is made using felt pens and van Gogh watercolours, and I like the end result. It just looks a bit sassy :)…
Deep in the forest, on top of the world. The summer breeze blowing right up in a swirl. Birds and bees and people and trees. All together in one big squeeze.
Climbing up is the real challenge. But getting down again is highly underestimated. The aching feet. The dried sweat turning cold. Your food all gone. This one is for everyone who reached the top. But forgot about the way back down. It's all part of the fun, though 🙂
I like making these pieces. The mix of drawing and painting. The way the watercolours blend together. The bright colours surrounded by nothing. It's a great fusion of everything I love about painting and drawing. And I hope you like it too 🙂
